Mr. Thab Chanthorn is a distinguished academic and professional with a multifaceted educational background and extensive experience in higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, distinguished by an excellent teaching practicum. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Law with a notable research focus on "Concurrent Crime." His academic journey continued with a Master of Education in Higher Education Development and Management, during which he conducted and published qualitative research entitled "Leadership in Cambodian Public High Schools: Stories from three (3) Public School Principals."
Professionally, Mr. Chanthorn has held several significant positions. He began as academic library manager, demonstrating his leadership and administrative skills early on. His expertise extends to Faculty, where he served as an Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Languages. Moreover, he has contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer, teaching various subjects including Core English, Writing Skills, Philosophy, and Public Speaking.
At ACLEDA University of Business, Mr. Chanthorn's career has been marked by progressive responsibilities. He started as a Senior Lecturer and subsequently became the Head of the Center for Business Languages and the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Languages. In addition to his administrative duties, he continues to impart knowledge through lectures on Core English, Effective Academic Writing Skills, Employability Skills, Ethics for Professional Values, Critical Thinking Skills, and Public Speaking Skills.
Mr. Thab Chanthorn's comprehensive educational background, coupled with his extensive professional experience, highlights his dedication to the advancement of higher education and his commitment to fostering academic excellence.
