English for Specific Purposes
English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is professionally designed to develop English communication skills in a specific discipline such as finance, banking, marketing, management, human resources, etc. Emphasis is given to the language and communication requirement in a particular field. This course enables participants to master relevant communication and professional skills and, in so doing, meet the needs of industry locally and internationally. ESP is purposively designed by ACLEDA University of Business to provide staffs working in ACLEDA Bank Plc., and any interested learners with three areas of English:
- English for Business Writing
- English for Business Communication
- English for Accounting
- English for Finance and Baking
ESP is committed to:
- Foster communication skills to theory and practice of English language learning;
- Provide learners with opportunities to advance themselves in business writing and speaking;
- Prepare learners for the success in their employment, and business;
- Build up learners' confidence in communicating, presenting and speaking in English in public.
