In fact, international business is more complex than local business and it requires professional and efficient handling of the business transactions include private, governmental, investments, sales, logistic and transaction and it requires sellers or exporter receives and delivers documents to apply to both import and export documentary credits and collection. This intensive practical course addresses the current trade finance techniques, tips ,facts for processing trade finance effectively.

Training Fee

  • USD 170 per participant per 2-day training course.
  • USD 160 per participant for organization sending 3-5 participants to the course.
  • USD 150 per participant for organization sending 6 participants up to the course.
  • This fee includes training materials, refreshments, lunch and certificate.

Payment Condition

There is no charge for any cancellation which is made by the deadline of the registration. Cancellation after deadline of the registration and participants appearing without proper cancellation will be charged the full amount.

Methodology

The training methodology will be focused on experience based and participatory approaches including brainstorming, group discussion with presentation, group work, sharing hand-on experience, training game, and participants' problem raised during training workshop.

Trainers

Mr. SEUN Niwath, Assistant Senior Vice President of Trade Finance Division, ACLEDA Bank Plc.

He is a Assistant Senior Vice President and has more than 9 years of experience in Bank Guarantee Service in Trade Finance Division of ACLEDA Bank Plc. He obtained a Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) in general management at National University of Management (NUM), and a diploma in English for Business Communication from Institute for Business Education. He has attended several advanced courses on field of Trade Finance, such as Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Documentary Collection, Incoterms, Trade Loan ect by Trade Finance Trainer, ICC Banking Commission member.

As one of the experienced trainer in trainer pool of ACLEDA Bank Plc and with his expertise, he has conducted many training workshops related with the field of Bank Guarantee to ACLEDA Bank existing staff effectively.

He has been working for ACLEDA Bank since 2001in the field of Credit Operation, and then he was changed to work for Trade Finance Division in 2006, responsible for Bank Guarantee Service. Currently, he has been promoted as a Assistant Senior Vice President of Trade Finance Division.


Ms. Mam Sodanin, Trade Finance Senior Specialist of Trade Finance Division, ACLEDA Bank Plc.

Ms. Mam Sodanin started working for Acleda Bank Plc in 2005 as a staff of financial accounting of Finance Division responsible for branches financial controlling for three years. She started to get another new experience at Trade Finance Division in 2008 operated in letter of credit and documentary collection transactions (Import and Export), supports all branches trade finance operations, updated the procedure, and test in core banking system for trade finance products / SWIFT message etc.

With her expertise of 8 year dealing with trade finance and as a member of trainer pool of Trade Finance Division, ACLEDA Bank Plc., she has conducted many training courses and workshops involving with the field of international trade such as, Mentor of documentary credit and UCP600 coastline solution from ICC, Training program of Finance of International Trade with The Institute of Export, SWIFT Training course under Collection and Documentary Credit with SWIFT organization at Association Banking in Cambodia, Training Program of documentary credit, bank guarantee with ICC specialist at Association Banking in Cambodia and at Acleda Bank Training Centre, short course of CDCS Exam Training by Wells Fargo Bank, Hanoi.

She obtained a bachelor degree of Financial and Banking, bachelor degree of English Lecturer and completed of Master of Finance (MFI) in 2013.


Mr. TUY Sovannara, Senior Faculty of ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS

Born on 1978, he obtained a Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) major in Finance from National University of Management, Cambodia in 2011. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English for Business Communication (English Based, International Program) from Pannasastra University of Cambodia in 2012. He gained a Bachelor of Economics in Banking and Finance at Norton University, Cambodia in 2000. He has attended numerous short courses on finance and banking, training of trainer, management and leadership which were organized by ACLEDA Bank Plc. since 2000.

He started working for ACLEDA Bank Plc. as a credit officer in 2000 and was promoted as a chief of credit officer in 2001. He moved to work as an Auditor in 2003 and was changed to Accountant at Operation Department, Headquarter, ACLEDA Bank Plc. in 2004. He was promoted as an Assistant Vice President and Manager of Accounting Unit at Trade Finance Division in 2007. He became a Senior Specialist at Trade Finance Division in 2013. He has been assigned as a member of trainer pool of ACLEDA Bank Plc. since 2007 and responsible for delivering training courses on task of accountant, financial and accounting management, financial statement analysis, planning and budgeting, ratio analysis, off- balance sheet entry of trade finance, set up credit line, input loan in bulk into system, and prepared monthly reports to management. He currently holds a position as a Senior Faculty, specialized in finance and accounting at ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS.

Guest Speaker

Mrs. Om Sophea, Vice President and Deputy Head of Trade Finance Division, ACLEDA Bank Plc.

She has been an experienced trade finance manager/specialist certified by International Chamber of Commerce, dealing with management in field of Trade Finance of ACLEDA Bank Plc. for more than 10 years. She obtained a Master's Degree of Finance and Banking (MFB) at Western University and Certificate of Mentor 600, the ICC online program in UCP 600 and Documentary of Credit issued by ICC / The Institute of Export in 2009. She has also attended numerous courses on trade finance program in Cambodia and overseas.

She is one of the seasoned trainer pools in Trade Finance Division of ACLEDA Bank. With her trade finance practical specialist, she has conducted many training courses for national and international participants on trade terms (Inco terms 2010), how to examine present document under Letter of Credit, efficiently use and create of message type in SWIFT System, workflow of Trade Supply Chain, Trade Finance Methodology, Import-Export Financing, rule applicable for trade instrument (Bank Guarantee, Letter of Credit, Documentary Collection, Standby Letter of Credit, Bill of Exchange) etc.

She started working for ACLEDA Bank in 2002 as an Accountant, and then was changed to be Trade Finance Officer in 2005, responsible for setting up the procedures and test in core banking system for all of trade finance products. She has been promoted to Vice President and Deputy Head of Trade Finance Division since 2012.
