Ms. Liao Xiaoyan
Chinese Teacher
She is a a Chinese language teacher at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Languages, ACLEDA University of Business, holds a bachelor’s degree in international Chinese Education.
She has extensive experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. For instance, she taught Pakistani and Cambodian students at Jiujiang University, China. Her primary research area is the theory and practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language with a strong emphasis on practical application.
Ms. Liao has a solid theoretical foundation, rich academic and teaching experience, and outstanding intercultural communication skills. She teaches courses such as Comprehensive Chinese for Beginners, Elementary Chinese, Intermediate Chinese, and HSK Exam Preparation.
She believes that the interest in language a learning is the best teacher for learning Chinese; therefore, she emphasizes cultivating students’ curiosity and enthusiasm. By combining practical exercises with fundamental knowledge, she helps students quickly develop Chinese language skills. Likewise, learning a language is not only about acquiring linguistic knowledge but also about mastering the ability to learn a language effectively.
