Lending is the principal business for most financial institutions. Loan portfolio is typically the largest asset and predominated source of revenue. Poor loan portfolio management, however, is the major cause of losses and failures. Therefore effective management of loan portfolio is the fundamental safety and soundness of financial institutions.

Training Fee

  • USD 170 per participant per 2-day training course.
  • USD 160 per participant for organization sending 3-5 participants to the course.
  • USD 150 per participant for organization sending 6 participants up to the course.
  • This fee includes training materials, refreshments, lunch and certificate.

Payment Condition

There is no charge for any cancellation which is made by the deadline of the registration. Cancellation after deadline of the registration and participants appearing without proper cancellation will be charged the full amount.

Methodology

The training methodology will be focused on experience based and participatory approaches including brainstorming, group discussion with presentation, group work, sharing hand-on experience, training game, and participants' problem raised during training workshop.

Trainers

Mr. ANN Chantha, Senior Faculty of ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS

Born in 1964, he obtained a Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Finance from National University of Management, Cambodia in 2011. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) majoring in Business Management from University of Management and Economic, in 2004. Since 1993, he has attended numerous courses on Banking Management, Leadership, Credit Management, and Marketing Management both in Cambodia and overseas. He has worked for ACLEDA Bank Plc as a Credit Office in 1993 and then was promoted as a District Team Leader in 1998. From 2006 to 2014, he had been promoted to work as a Branch Manager for 8 years. He has been assigned as a member of trainer pool of ACLEDA Bank Plc., since 2006 and responsible for delivering training courses on Successful Branch Management, Management and Leadership skill, Credit Management, Loan recovery, Delinquency Management, MSME Lending, Work flow of Credit Officer, Loan Evaluation, Credit Risk Management, Bank Risk Management. At present time, he holds a position as Senior Faculty Specialized in Credit at ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS.


Mr. YI Sokkim, Senior Faculty of ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS

Mr. Yi Sokkim used to be a Credit Department Manager at ACLEDA Bank Lao Ltd. (ABL) and he was also a member of the Board Credit & Risk committee, ALCO committee and a founder of ABL. In his responsibility, he managed, led and trained his Branch managers and Credit officers to implement the credit task to maintain healthy loan portfolio, and especially to prevent delinquencies with satisfactory outcomes. Since January 2011, Mr. Yi Sokkim has been elected as a senior faculty of ATC specializing in credit. He is an experienced trainer certified by Frankfurt School (FS) and Women's World Banking (WWB). In his speciality in credit, he has conducted many training courses on Loan Delinquency Management, SME Lending, Loan Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Management, etc. to participants from both local and international MFIs and banks. At present time, he holds a position as Senior Faculty Specialized in Credit at ACLEDA INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS.

He used to attend Credit Portfolio Risk Management Master class in Malaysia and numerous training programs related to credit field abroad. He has had more than 17 years of relevant working experience in credit field. He started working for ACLEDA Bank in 1997 as Micro and Small Credit Officer, Chief of Credit Officer, Training Program Officer. Because of his successful experiences and capacity in credit field, he was promoted to Credit Department Manager. He obtained a Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in general management at Royal University of Law and Economic (RULE).
