Voluntary blood donation reflects love and participation in the rescue of patients who urgently need blood. The aim is to cultivate a habit and culture of voluntary blood donation and encourage youth and the general public to participate in activities with the National Blood Transfusion Center to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in hospitals nationwide. This was stated by Dr. Phon Narin, president of ACLEDA University of Business, speaking at a voluntary blood donation event under the theme of Giving Blood, Giving Love with AUB, organized by ACLEDA University of Business in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Center, Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, youth volunteers, the university administration, professors, lecturers, and students. Dr. Phon Narin continued that every year, the university holds this event by donating blood, which is a good deed and a gesture of compassion. Please remember that donating blood does not harm your health but can also help reduce the risk of various cancers. Blood can only come from people; no factory can produce it.

Dr. Sok Po, Head of the National Blood Transfusion Center, stated that blood donation offers many benefits to donors because blood donors can know their own health through blood tests and can prevent the risk of various diseases, cancer, and stroke, especially preventing blood clots in the body. More importantly, donated blood can save lives and support families in need. This reflects the beautiful Khmer tradition of mutual help in society.
